Short bio
Jan has spent his life passionately driving the transition to sustainable energy, starting at just age 8 when he founded an environmental group. Now Vice President and European Programme Director at the Regulatory Assistance Project (RAP), a global clean energy think tank, he leads efforts to shape energy policies globally. With research roles at Oxford and Cambridge, Jan has published extensively, influencing policy through his work. He co-hosts the “Watt Matters” podcast and is a highly sought-after keynote speaker having spoken at events at the UN and the World Economic Forum. Named among the world's top 100 climate leaders and top 25 energy influencers, Jan holds a doctorate from Oxford.
